Today.. March 29, 2020.. We sadly say good bye to one of the greats. His family and loved ones are in our prayers. Joe Diffie age 61, passed away today. He was known for his hits “Honky Tonk Attitude”, “Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox,””John Deere Green,””Pick Up Man.”

AT 61 … 61 years YOUNG…I’m sure we never saw this coming.. And I can’t be any prouder than now to do what we do.. Unexpected things that derail life.. It even happens to successful individuals..Again I can’t stress enough where you get your financial advise matters.. It’s way more than a stock and bond portfolio..where 85% of advisors stop.. it’s ..trusts, wills, income protection, pension design, LTC planning, educating the young family members.. your true intentions.. and more.. Life is short..

From age 11, I noticed the importance of the financial adviser role to the working family. By being with my father; he had a heart condition and could not work, but had the time to study investments and I always tried to listen to the financial advisor call. The advisors name was Bernie from Advest.. a mutual fund guy,, and that’s it.. never planned for life events. Then I go to Parker Hunter.. same thing,, then Merrill Lynch.. same thing.. then Prudential Financial Advisors.. same thing.. I got to see first hand what “ok” planning does,, it’s “ok”,,pick a wall street mutual fund in a IRS qualified account and that’s it.. After college graduation and becoming that financial adviser that I dreamed of becoming.. “ok” planning is what I quickly learned was and is the industry norm.. After 15 years of evaluation, running numbers, learning leading products, watching, talking to industry leaders.. this industry norm is not good enough, it’s almost garbage. That is why I created this company, to take the “ok” out of it. Financial planning needs to be great, you only have one shot; it needs to be fundamentally sound with a common sense strategy.
